If you're heading to Los Angeles, but looking to explore some of the central or Eastern neighborhoods (AKA not the popular one's along the coast) then let me tell you why I'd suggest Silver Lake. As an artist, I'm particularly drawn to this neighborhood as it's known to be full of creative souls. From graphic designers and photographers to fine artists and furniture makers, this neighborhood has it all. And right in the center of it all is of course a stay that would be an artist's heaven - Silver Lake Pool & Inn.

| Silver Lake Pool & Inn is located right on the main road and is central to so many things -- and I haven't even mentioned their incredible rooftop pool yet. Next door you'll find one of Los Angeles' beloved Erewhon Markets (everything is expensive, but if you're asking for my honest opinion.. everything is worth it.) Venture west down Santa Monica Blvd. and eventually you'll find yourself in East Hollywood. Venture east down Sunset Blvd. and you'll find yourself in Echo Park, but only after stopping into a handful of cute cafés and shops along the way. |
