Brooklyn
The Williamsburg Hotel
In November 2019, I flew across the country to participate in two craft fairs and while I was there I stayed at The Williamsburg Hotel for a few nights. The hotel staff was overwhelmingly friendly, even after they saw how many suitcases I had to bring up to my room or keep in storage (I promise I’m not a crazy over-packer, I just had all of my craft fair supplies with me for an event I was doing that weekend). The rooms were small, but quaint and I couldn’t get over the view of Manhattan’s city skyline from our balcony. It. Was. Incredible.
At the top of the hotel they have a water tower that’s been turned into a bar and it has even more breathtaking 360 degree views of New York City at night. The hotel lobby and restaurant/bar was decorated in the most artsy and eclectic, yet high-fashion way and I couldn’t stop taking photos. This place is a must stay if you’re planning to spend some time across the Hudson River. It’s within walking distance of so many great Brooklyn staples, and just blocks away from Greenpoint where you can find even more fun spots.
