Due to the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, Art By Aleisha does not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Custom or Personalized Orders (such as Hand-Painted Maps)
  • Digital Downloads

If you decide to cancel your order on a custom piece that required a proof (wedding suites, business branding, logo design, etc.), you will be charged a fee for the proof. Proof charges vary by project — if you have questions about the proof charge for your custom order, please send an email to

Custom Order Revisions:
Custom order asks may need to be revised once Aleisha has the time to look them over. If an order falls into this bucket, we will keep record of the email threads exchanged between our team and the customer to ensure that we send you a product that aligns with the newly agreed upon asks.



If you ordered a map that didn’t have any personalized highlights added to it or in a unique color scheme, please contact to discuss the possibility of a return. Customers with Non-Personalized Maps that are eligible for return will receive a refund for their product minus the cost of shipping. Shipping cost to send the maps back to Art By Aleisha are covered by the customer.



Any product that is NOT an original piece of artwork, hand-painted, personalized or custom can be returned within 14 days of receiving the item with valid issue/concern (product quality, damaged during shipment). Please email to initiate a return request and provide your order number or a description of your order in the Subject field.

Art By Aleisha only accepts returned items in their original condition, so if you wish to return or exchange your item(s) please be sure that they are unused, undamaged, and unaltered and returned in the original packaging. Only the price of the product will be refunded upon receipt of the returned item. Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping back to the seller.

Please keep in mind that color varies on individual computer screens and we cannot guarantee color unless a specific swatch is requested.



If your product arrives damaged or defective, please take a photo and email within 5 days of receiving it and we will determine whether or not you are eligible for a refund or product replacement.

If you purchased a personalized map and upon receiving it realize that it doesn’t have the highlighted locations you requested:

Please make sure to read the product description for that product carefully. Sometimes a specific number of highlighted locations are allowed and additional highlights come at an additional cost.

Know that sometimes Aleisha cannot accommodate all highlighted location requests. She does her best to include the places that you list in your order form, but sometimes it can be difficult to fit all of them in a map (especially if they are close together, too far outside of the city, etc.). If you are worried about whether or not your highlights can be included on the map please email

Lastly, Aleisha sometimes does make mistakes! If we see that you had clearly requested for a location to be highlighted on your map in your order form and have expressed its importance to you, Aleisha may be able to make you a replacement.
