Step into the Proper Hotel in Austin, Texas and you'll be in an interior design heaven. It's everything -- the hardwood floors, ultra-patterned furniture, the unique Texan decor, and the fun wallpaper. This hotel is my absolute favorite spot to grab a happy hour cocktail with friends, brunch at their Mediterranean restaurant Peacock or dinner at their Mexican restaurant La Piscina.. or of course to stay overnight! Every inch of this hotel will leave you feeling inspired.

The rooms here are quite small, but it's all the space you'll need since you'll be spending most of your time outside exploring the beautiful city of Austin. This hotel is centrally located in downtown. It's just a few minutes drive away from the popular Rainey Street or the bars on 6th Street. If you're looking to spend some time near the water, it's also just a few minutes walk away from the riverfront. Head over to South Congress Ave. in just a few minutes and do some true Texas shopping (and by that I mean head into Allen's Boots!)
