The South Congress Hotel might be the most hip spot to stay in Austin. Right when you walk in you'll be amazed by their unique decor and true Texas style. Leather couches, wooden furnishings, and unique pieces of decor scattered around the main floor. Even if you're not a guest at the hotel, be sure to stop in here to check it out. If I was a local, I'd come here to work instead of a café - it's that cool. Also, it's perfectly located right on South Congress Ave. Step outside and you'll be able to do some of the best shopping you can find in Austin.

FOOD + DRINKYou can quickly grab a coffee and a pastry from their café downstairs Mañana or sit down for brunch at their note worthy restaurant Café No Se. For dinner you can make a reservation at their restaurant the Central Standard, an American bar and grill. But don't forget to grab a drink at their lobby bar before hand! You have to check out the smiley face decor, you'll never see anything else like it. |
