Decorating A Home Office

Written May 14, 2025

Your office is an extension of you. Whether you’re in-person or remote, we have a few tips on how to spruce up your space to work and feel your best! Read on for some Aleisha's favorite decor tips for sprucing up your at-home office or cubicle at work.

EXPRESS YOUR SHELF

A subtle way to show off your school pride post-grad is to do do so with a smaller 8"x10" campus map print framed and styled on a shelf in your home office. Mixing it in with some other assorted decor will ensure it's a key piece in your space, but without taking all of the credit. Keep it neutral with a small ceramic dish, some books or small plants, or throw in eclectic accents from your travels or the thrift.

FRAME OF MIND

Want a suggestion beyond a shelf? Why not try a gallery wall? Use an 11"x14" or 12"x16" map print as your anchor piece, and add a pennant of your current city, college, etc., your diploma, and some complimenting colorful art.

The Big Picture

If you’re in the minimalist camp of wall decor, pick one solution to rule them all: a large framed print. Sleek, simple, and keeps your office feeling personal.

One additional tip: Have fun! Now go out there and get decorating!
