Hotel Carmel
Nestled just a few blocks away from the oceanfront, you'll find the cutest little beach cottage hotel in Carmel-By-The-Sea. With spacious rooms and reasonable pricing, Hotel Carmel is one of my favorite to stay during a getaway with close friends or a significant other. The main street (Ocean Ave.) is full of coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and art galleries.
You can walk to anything in town from Hotel Carmel's location, but you're away from the restaurants so it's quite peaceful at night. They have an incredible outdoor patio with bonfire pits, an actual fire place, and a hot tub - so if you prefer to spend some time with a glass of wine by the bonfire instead of exploring, you can do just that.

Whenever I'm in Carmel, I always make sure to stop by Stationaery for brunch one day - they have an incredible menu that changes with the seasons. It's a great spot for lunch, too. |
Another favorite spot is Rise + Roam Bakery and Pizzeria, which also doubles as a breakfast and lunch spot. Grab a coffee and a pastry from here, a copy of the Pine Cone Times, and then walk down the cute alley ways around Carmel. |
